Power and Grace

Lucy 'Indra' Gilchrist posing in her saree, as well as her strong woman show she also performs traditional Indian dances, inspired by her upbringing in that country before returning to Britain, many are awed to see such a powerful woman exhibit such grace and it has certainly become an intriguing counterpoint to the feats of strength witnessed in her other performances, it also seems she is growing more and more popular in photographic form. 

A commission from , he did the beautiful digital painting of 's 'Indra' and I added the background, aged photo effects and the cabinet card surround. 

Nerdy bit, a photograph attached to a piece of thick card stock usually embossed with a border and the photographer's details, the cabinet card dominated the photographic portrait scene from around 1860 to the 1890s.
